The Three Rivers Battalion is a premier Army ROTC program that prepares students to be leaders. The program is hosted at the University of Pittsburgh and nearby universities participate, including Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University, Point Park University, Chatham University, Carlow University, Franciscan University of Steubenville, Robert Morris University, LaRoche University, California University of Pennsylvania, Washington and Jefferson College, St. Vincent College, and Seton Hill University.
